President picks U.S. Ambassador to Germany Grenell
President Trump has chosen Richard Grenell, the United States ambassador to Germany, as acting director of national intelligence.
“Ric has represented our Country exceedingly well and I look forward to working with him,” the president tweeted.
Grenell has been the U.S. ambassador to Germany since 2018. He previously served as U.S. spokesman at the United Nations in the George W. Bush administration, including under then-Ambassador John Bolton.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Ambassador Grenell as he takes on the position of acting director of national intelligence.
- For President Trump as he looks for the right person to permanently fill the position.
