President Donald Trump announced this weel that he will deliver the commencement addresses for the University of Alabama and the U.S. Military Academy.
“I have agreed to do the Commencement Address at two really GREAT places, the University of Alabama and, WEST POINT. Stay tuned for times and dates!!!” President Trump stated.
The University of Alabama has its commencement scheduled from May 2-4, and West Point’s graduation ceremony is scheduled for May 24. The schools have yet to release details regarding the president’s visits.
Senator Katie Britt of Alabama stated that she was “thrilled” the president would be visiting the University of Alabama for the first time. President Trump delivered seven commencement addresses during his first term, including West Point in 2020.
