Congressional Delegation Meets with Israeli Prime Minister

The House minority leader is heading the delegation to Denmark to discuss the continuation of the NATO alliance and the status of Greenland.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries is heading a bipartisan congressional delegation to Denmark. Congressman Jeffries stated they would meet with the country’s officials to discuss “the continued importance of the NATO alliance and the geopolitical status of Greenland.”

President Donald Trump has repeatedly spoken of the importance of Greenland to the United States, a semi-autonomous territory of Denmark.

The delegation attended a Holocaust Martyrs and Heroes Remembrance Day on Thursday in Israel. They also met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who spoke about efforts to secure the release of the remaining hostages being held by Hamas.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Minority Leader Jeffries as he leads the congressional delegation to Denmark.
  • For the eight legislators to seek the Lord’s guidance as they speak with international allies.
  • That members of Congress work with the president’s administration for the benefit of the nation.
