The purpose is to remove outdated processes, declassification, and political weaponization.
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard announced the creation of a “transparency and accountability” task force to review the organization and activity of U.S. intelligence agencies. She said the group will address wasteful spending by “streamlining outdated processes, reviewing documents for declassification, and leading ongoing efforts to root out abuses of power and politicization.”
The director added that it is “well underway” with “investigating weaponization, rooting out deep-seeded [sic] politicization, exposing unauthorized disclosures of classified intelligence, and declassifying information that serves a public interest.”
“President Trump promised the American people maximum transparency and accountability. We are committed to executing the President’s vision and focusing the Intelligence Community on its core mission,” DNI Gabbard stated.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
