Today, a U.S. delegation, headed by Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, will participate nuclear deal with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragchchi mediated by Oman. President Donald Trump seeks a dismantling of Iran’s nuclear program, which Iran has opposed.

President Trump said, “I think if the talks are not successful with Iran, Iran is going to be in great danger. If the talks are not successful, I actually think that will be a very bad day for Iran.”

The president added, “So, we’re going to see if we can avoid it. But it’s getting to be very dangerous territory. And hopefully those talks will be successful. And I think it would be in Iran’s best interests if they are successful.”

Minister Araghchi said, “Mark my words: Iran prefers diplomacy but it knows how to defend itself.“ Iran has maintained its nuclear development program is peaceful.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Envoy Witkoff and members of the U.S. delegation to be prudent in their discussions with Iran.
  • For President Trump and administration officials as they pursue a nuclear agreement with Iran.
  • For God’s plans and purposes to be accomplished in and through the United States.
