Issue 692 – National Prayer Needs

Additional National Prayer Needs

Pray for America’s Military

U.S. military personnel continue to augment U.S. Customs and Border Protection efforts at the nation’s southern border as the U.S. Northern Command works with the Department of Homeland Security. The USS Gravely was deployed to the Gulf of America this month as part of the response to President Trump’s executive order that declared an emergency at the border.

Pray for U.S. defense officials and contractors as they seek to maintain the military supply chain.

PRAY FOR AN END TO THE WAR IN UKRAINE

This week delegations from Ukraine and Russia agreed to a ceasefire in the Black Sea. The agreement to “ensure safe navigation, eliminate the use of force, and prevent the use of commercial vessels for military purposes” came out of talks in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Pray for President Trump and U.S. negotiators as they continue to work for peace between Russia and Ukraine.

Pray for AMERICA’S RELATIONSHIP WITH ISRAEL

Israel has conducted strikes against Hamas, killing several political leaders of the group including deputy ministers of justice and interior and the head of Hamas’ internal security agency. President Trump had issued a last warning to Hamas in early March to release the remaining hostages “now, not later,” saying that, if they did not, “it is OVER for you.”

Pray for U.S. officials as they discuss the war in Gaza with Israeli leaders. Pray for the Israeli and Palestinian people who are impacted by the conflict.

Pray for AMERICA’S HEALTH AND WELL-BEING

The Medicare coverage for telehealth services is set to end after March 31. After the Health and Human Services secretary waived restrictions on telehealth in March 2020, Congress enacted Medicare’s coverage of telemedicine visits during the pandemic. Some members of Congress are considering the extension of telehealth coverage for senior citizens.

Pray for U.S. health officials and members of Congress as they evaluate and consider the potential extension of telehealth coverage under Medicare.

Pray for Needs Across the States

The Washington State Senate is considering a bill, the Youth Hope Act, that would allow anyone convicted of two homicides under the age of 18 to petition for early release from prison after they reach 24 years old. The current length of time for parole for juvenile killers is after 20 years served. Though there is a requirement that requests go before a board for review, opponents voice concerns over public safety and that early release would minimize the severity of murder as a crime.

The Mississippi legislature has passed a bill that bans the manufacture, sale, and distribution of lab-grown meat in the state as of July 1, 2025. The consequences of violating the state law include a penalty of up to $500 and up to 3 months in jail. Retailers and restaurants would risk having their licenses revoked by the state’s health department. The bill awaits the signature of Governor Tate Reeves.

For state senators and representatives to receive God’s direction as they consider measures to address issues their states face.

Pray for America’s Faith Community

“God’s technicolor truth… presents – it makes a presentation. It presents God’s Word in living color. By living color, I mean in its absolute brilliance spiritually. … A friend of mine, not a Christian at the time. Partying, was in an absolute maniac rock band, in some city somewhere. Checks into a hotel and he’s drunk, in his hotel, opens up the drawer, and grabs a Gideon Bible… opens it up, the guy’s drunk… God was pursuing this guy, circumstances in life, issues in his life, he’s drunk… he said he opened up the Bible and he started reading it and instantly his mind was crystal clear. And it scared him – he was instantly sober! And he kept reading the Bible, got on his knees and accepted Christ – that guy’s in the ministry today, he’s a pastor. Is that amazing? You say, ‘God can’t do that.‘ Yeah, He can! Yes, He can. What happened? God, by the Holy Spirit, using the Word of God, lifts the truth of it up off the pages, because its alive, and it’s emboldened and embossed on our heart, in technicolor, in living color!“ Pastor Jack Hibbs, Real Life Radio, March 2025
