Additional National Prayer Needs
Pray for America’s Military
After President Trump ordered airstrikes against Iran-backed Houthis in Yemen, the terrorists launched a counterattack against U.S. naval vessels in the Red Sea. Though the Houthis reportedly launched 11 drones and one ballistic missile, U.S. Air Force and Navy fighter planes shot down 10 of the drones while the missile came up very short of its target. President Trump threatened to hold Iran responsible for further Houthi attacks and said the U.S. would use “overwhelming lethal force” to stop the attacks.
Pray for the president as commander-in-chief of the U.S. Armed Forces, and for the protection of all active-duty American service personnel.
PRAY FOR AN END TO THE WAR IN UKRAINE
President Trump spoke with President Putin this week, setting the groundwork for a 30-day ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine. The Russian president agreed to halt attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, effective immediately. The Kremlin also announced the exchange of equal numbers of Russian and Ukrainian prisoners.
Pray for President Trump, Secretary Rubio, and National Security Advisor Waltz as they continue to work out the details of the ceasefire in Ukraine.
Pray for AMERICA’S RELATIONSHIP WITH ISRAEL
The Israeli Defense Force has begun to conduct extensive strikes on Gaza since Hamas has refused to discuss extending the ceasefire. After the terror group “rejected all offers” by U.S. Envoy Steve Witkoff regarding the release of the remaining hostages, Prime Minister Netanyahu and Defense Minister Katz said the IDF will target Hamas with “increasing military force” from now on.
Pray for U.S. and Israeli officials as they seek an end to Hamas’ terrorist activities in the region.
Pray for AMERICA’S HEALTH AND WELL-BEING
The Department of Health and Human Services and the Office of the Surgeon General removed the former surgeon general’s 2024 advisory listing gun violence as a public health crisis. The agency announced it was complying with President Trump’s executive order that protects the Second Amendment right to bear arms under the U.S. Constitution.
Pray for Secretary Kennedy and HHS officials as they assess and seek to improve the state of public health.
Pray for Needs Across the States
West Virginia Governor Patrick Morrissey signed the Riley Gaines Act into law this month. The legislation “reaffirms longstanding meaning” of sex, and codifies the definitions of “man” and “woman” into state law, preserving the privacy of women in restrooms, sleeping quarters, locker rooms, and other private spaces.
The Arizona legislature is considering a bill that would require hospitals that receive state funds to track the citizenship of patients. State Senator Wendy Rogers said the goal is to determine just how much the state is spending on the healthcare of illegal aliens and that the information would not be given to immigration authorities. She said, “We need to account for the dollars that are flowing out the door.“
Pray for state officials as they seek to be fiscally accountable while they uphold the rights and freedoms of citizens.
Pray for America’s Faith Community
“I want to talk about God’s love for us and our love for Him. Love is a two-way street, it goes both ways. I want to consider that very seriously today. I hope that you’ll hear what I’m saying… and that the Holy Spirit will apply it to you, even as He is applying it to me. …
Paul [though] he had been beaten and scarred… his love to Christ was demonstrated, his commitment to the Lord. How our Lord talked to us, people in the Bible, and He’s talking to people today about their devotion to Him and their love to Him. … God has a voice, He has words to say. …
How do you measure love? … Friend, you and I have been bought with a price. Do you know that you’ve been brought with the blood of Jesus? You know you belong to Jesus? Who do you belong to? Because everybody here today belongs to something or someone.“ – Pastor Jack Morris, The Healing Word, March 2025
