Pastors and other Christian leaders express their appreciation over the honor of the opportunity.
Faith leaders from across the nation visited President Donald Trump at the White House on Wednesday. They laid hands on the commander-in-chief and prayed over him as he sat at the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office.
“It was a huge honor to represent [Baptist Leaders] and meet [President Donald Trump] today along with other Christian leaders and pray for him in the Oval Office,” Executive Director of the Center for Baptist Leadership, William Wolfe, posted. “It’s been an incredible day—been keeping this under wraps until it happened, but can’t wait to share more!!”
First Baptist Dallas Pastor Robert Jeffries stated, “Honored to lead a prayer today for our great President [Donald Trump]!”
As part of his agenda to defend religious liberty, President Trump signed an executive order last month that established the White House Faith Office as part of the Domestic Policy Council.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- With gratitude for President Trump welcoming faith leaders to the White House and working to protect the freedom of religion.
- For the president and his administration to seek the Lord as they make decisions and take action.
