Consumer Prices Decreased in February

White House press secretary reports that inflation reached the lowest level in nearly four years.

The Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that February’s core consumer price inflation rate decreased 0.2 percent, the lowest it has been since April 2021. The bureau reported the consumer price index rose a seasonally adjusted 0.2 percent, making the annual inflation rate 2.8 percent.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated that this “CPI report shows inflation is declining and the economy is moving in the right direction under President Trump. Core consumer prices, which is the best measure of inflation, dropped to its lowest level in FOUR years. This inflation report, much like last week’s jobs report, is far better than the media predicted and the so-called ‘experts’ expected.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For President Trump as he implements economic growth strategies to reduce the cost of living and increased employment.
  • For the president’s advisors and Cabinet officials to receive God’s guidance as they provide input and recommendations.
