He calls on Governor Hochul to change sanctuary policies and cooperate with federal immigration enforcement.
Border czar Tom Homan stated that waves of immigration agents would be coming to New York if state officials do not start complying with federal immigration enforcement efforts.
“Sanctuary cities are going to get exactly what they don’t want: more agents in the community,” he said from his podium joined by some state officials. “We’ll double the man-force if we have to. Rather than one officer arresting a bad guy, now I have to send a whole team.”
“New York State, you’ve got to change your sanctuary status and if you don’t, get out of the way. We’re going to do our job,” he added.
Homan called on New York Governor Kathy Hochul to cooperate with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and commended the policies of New York City Mayor Eric Adams. Homan said that he had a third meeting scheduled with Mayor Adams later that week.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Border Czar Homan to be discerning as he seeks cooperation from state and local officials to enforce federal immigration law.
- For the president and administration officials as they seek to deport violent illegal aliens from the U.S.
