President Donald Trump is at his Mar-a-Lago residence for the weekend. He announced that a presidential delegation of U.S. ambassadors and State Department officials, led by Senator Katie Britt of Alabama, will attend the inauguration of President Yamandú Orsi of Uruguay today in Montevideo.
The House of Representatives passed government funding legislation this week. What President Trump called the “one big, beautiful bill“ was approved through the slim majority.
House Speaker Mike Johnson stated, “While there is much more to do, we are determined to send a bill to President Trump’s desk that secures our border, keeps taxes low for families and job creators, restores American energy dominance, strengthens America’s standing on the world stated, and makes government work more effectively for all Americans.“
President Trump responded, “Big First Step Win for Speaker Mike Johnson, and AMERICA. Now let’s start to BALANCE THE BUDGET. IT CAN BE DONE!!!”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Majority Leader Thune as he seeks to reconcile the funding legislation passed by the Senate with the president’s preferred House bill.
- For the delegation that is attending the president of Uruguay’s inauguration today.
- For President Trump to be led by the Lord as he seeks to implement the agenda of his second term.
