President Trump’s First Cabinet Meeting Opens in Prayer

The president and his administration leaders discuss a wide range of issues.

President Donald Trump held his first Cabinet meeting on Wednesday. The president had Secretary Scott Turner of the Department of Housing and Urban Development open in prayer.

President Trump and his administration leaders discussed a wide range of topics, from peace between Ukraine and Russia to the investigation into military officials who oversaw the withdrawal from Afghanistan in August 2021. Elon Musk was also present, sharing insights on the efforts to eliminate fraud and reduce waste in the federal government.

The president fielded questions from the press after the meeting. He announced that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky would be coming to the White House on Friday to sign an agreement

Responding to a journalist’s question regarding the peace negotiations, Vice President JD Vance stated, “Every single time the president engages in diplomacy, you guys preemptively accuse him of conceding to Russia. He hasn’t conceded anything to anyone. He’s doing the job of a diplomat, and he is of course the diplomat-in-chief as the president of the United States.“

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For President Trump as he seeks to elevate faith and prayer in the nation as well as protections for Christianity.
  • For the president and members of his administration to be led by the Lord in their decisions and actions.
