President to speak CPAC

President Donald Trump is scheduled to speak at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) conference at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland, today. CPAC was established in 1974 to engage in policy debate and highlight important issues.

Vice President JD Vance addressed attendees on the first day of the annual conference, saying, “We’re going to make it affordable to live in this country again. That’s our mandate, that’s our goal.”

President Trump has participated in the conference for more than a decade, beginning several years before his first presidential win and continuing during the span between terms.

As a candidate last year, President Trump said, “In 2016, I declared: I am your voice. Today I add: I am your warrior. I am your justice. And for those who have been wronged and betrayed, I am your retribution.”

He also stated, “When we win, the curtain closes on their corrupt reign and the sun rises on a bright new future for America.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the president to seek God’s guidance as he addresses the conservative conference.
  • For officials in President Trump’s administration to be discerning as they provide feedback and policy recommendations.
  • For judges and justices in the federal judiciary to uphold the law and the U.S. Constitution as they hear and decide cases.
