President Donald Trump signed an executive order addressing the “unjust racial discrimination” occurring in South Africa under it Expropriation Act. Under it, that nation’s government has allowed the seizure of “ethnic minority Afrikaners’ agricultural property without compensation.” The president also pointed out its “aggressive positions towards the United States and its allies“ and support of Iran, including accusing Israel of genocide after Hamas’ October 7, 2023 attack.
President Trump stated that the expropriation act is a “massive Human Rights VIOLATION, at a minimum, is happening for all to see.” He added that the South African government is confiscating “land, and treating certain classes of people VERY BADLY.”
The president committed to “cutting off all future funding to South Africa until a full investigation of this situation has been completed!”
Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated he would not be attending the G20 in Johannesburg, “South Africa is doing very bad things. Expropriating private property. Using G20 to promote ‘solidarity, equality, & sustainability.’ In other words: DEI and climate change.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For wisdom for President Trump as he addresses human rights violations by other nations.
- For Secretary of State Rubio to seek God’s guidance as he oversees U.S. diplomatic efforts.
