This week President Trump signed an order to eliminate the Federal Executive Institute.
The program was established under President Lyndon B. Johnson to train government bureaucrats for leadership.
The president declared, “Bureaucratic leadership over the past half-century has enlarged and entrenched Washington, D.C.’s managerial class, a bloated system far removed from the needs of American families. New leadership is needed.“
The White House stated, “Eliminating the Federal Executive Institute is part of President Trump’s broader mission to reform the federal bureaucracy, including by ending ineffective government programs that drain resources and empower government without achieving measurable results.“
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For the president to be discerning as he addresses government excess and seeks to reduce federal spending.
- For the vice president and secretary of state as they attend the security conference in Munich.
- For God’s purposes and plans to be accomplished in and through the United States and its governing officials.
