Senate Confirms Brooke Rollins as USDA Secretary

She expressed support for the president’s border security and deportation agenda.

The Senate confirmed Brooke Rollins as the new secretary of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) on Thursday. Rollins had worked under President Trump’s first administration as the head of the Domestic Policy Council and a member of the Office of American Innovation, and led the America First Policy Institute after the 2020 presidential election.

Secretary Rollins stated during her confirmation hearing, “The president’s vision of a secure border and a mass deportation at a scale that matters is something I support.”

The Senate has now confirmed 16 of President Trump’s nominees to his administration.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Secretary Rollins as she oversees the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
  • For members of the Senate as they continue the confirmation process for the remainder of President Trump’s nominees.
