Public safety officials issue warning over pretending to be law enforcement.
U.S. citizens are learning the hard way that impersonating law enforcement officers is a crime.
Two students at Temple University in Pennsylvania were arrested last week for impersonating Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents. They wore shirts with “ICE” and “POLICE” while another student filmed them.
A man in South Carolina was apprehended for a felony after he took a Hispanic driver’s keys and yelled that the men in the vehicle would be “going back to Mexico.”
Another man in North Carolina propositioned a woman using the picture of a fake badge, threatening her to comply. He is being charged with several crimes, in addition to impersonating an officer.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For students and youth to recognize it is illegal to impersonate any law enforcement officers.
- For the safety of ICE agents and immigration enforcement officials as they seek to deport criminal aliens and immigrants from violent foreign gangs.
