Today, President Donald Trump will attend Super Bowl LIX between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
While former President George H.W. Bush performed the Super Bowl coin toss before the games in 2002 and 2017, this is the first time a sitting U.S. president will be present at the event.
President Trump did a recorded interview from Mar-a-Lago that will air before the game.
Federal legislators will continue working on the national budget and government funding legislation today.
