Trade Representative, FBI Director, and Others Before Senate Committees

Jamieson Greer, President Trump’s nominee to be United States Trade Representative, is taking part in hearings before the Senate Finance Committee. This committee is chaired by Senator Mike Crapo of Idaho

The Senate Judiciary Committee, chaired by Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa, is holding a business meeting to consider the confirmation of Kash Patel to be director of the FBI and other administrative items.

House committees are holding several hearings today, including the impact of overregulation on the California wildfires, “Combatting Existing and Emerging Illicit Drug Threats,” the role of domestic mining on national security, fraud and theft of billions in unemployment benefits, and “Oversight of Taxpayer Funded Animal Cruelty.”
