Issue 685 – National Prayer Needs

Additional National Prayer Needs

Pray for America’s Military

The U.S. Navy’s Operation Southern Spear has deployed unmanned sea drones to interdict drug smugglers in U.S. waters. The operation is an early-stage test of the maritime drones “to support the detection and monitoring of illicit trafficking while learning lessons for other theaters.“

Pray for protection for U.S. military personnel stationed around the world.

PRAY FOR AN END TO THE WAR IN UKRAINE

President Trump is entertaining an offer from Ukraine to exchange military aid for rare earth minerals, such as lithium, uranium, and titanium.

Pray for the president and members of his administration as they deliberate ongoing security assistance to Ukraine.

Pray for AMERICA’S RELATIONSHIP WITH ISRAEL

President Trump met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu this week at the White House. The two leaders discussed the current and next phases of the ceasefire with Hamas in Gaza.

Pray for wisdom for President Trump and his Middle Eastern advisors as they provide input on the ceasefire details.

Pray for AMERICA’S HEALTH AND WELL-BEING

The Department of Health and Human Services announced that Centers for Disease Control and Prevention grant funding for any “gender idealogy“ programs is “immediately, completely, and permanently terminated.“

Pray for federal health officials as they navigate the changes being implemented by President Trump and his administration.

Pray for Needs Across the States

Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker amplified misinformation from the Chicago public school system that Immigration and Customs Enforcement raided an elementary school. In actuality, the U.S. Secret Service was investigating an unspecified threat against a protectee. The Secret Service does not enforce immigration laws.

A lawsuit has been filed against Governor Brad Little and the Idaho Army National Guard for instituting an informal “No Christians in Command“ policy in violation of the First and Fourteenth Amendments. A major in the service was removed from command and pressured to resign after an LGBTQ enlisted man complained about a personal campaign account that outlined traditional sexual ethics by the officer.

Pray for state officials to be discerning as they implement policies related to immigration enforcement and the free exercise of religion.

Pray for America’s Faith Community

“Paul was branded by love. When Paul experienced becoming a ‘man in Christ,‘ he developed the capacity for love. Only maturity knows love. How Paul loved!
First and supremely, Paul loved his Lord. Then he loved men, his enemies, hardship, and soul-pain. And he must have loved this latter particularly, else he would have shirked prayer. Paul’s love carried him to the lost, the last, the least. What scope of love! Mars Hill with its intellectuals, the synagogues with their religious traditionalists, the marketplaces with their prodigals — all these he yearned over and sought for his Lord. Like a mighty dynamo, love pushed him on to attempt great things for God.
Not many have prayed as this man prayed… a few others have known something of the soul-and-body mastering work of intercession motivated by love.

I remember standing by the Marechale once as we sang her great hymn:
‘There is a love constraining me
To go and seek the lost;
I yield, O Lord, my all to Thee
To save at any cost!‘

That was not just a lovely sentiment. It cost her prison, privation, pain, and poverty.“ – Revival Thoughts with Leonard Ravenhill
