Additional National Prayer Needs
Pray for America’s Military
A U.S. military joint task force is training to assist in the retrieval of astronauts from the sea after splashdowns. The Human Space Flight Support head planner stated that human space travel is expected to increase. Reservists and guardsmen joined active-duty personnel for the operation.
Pray for U.S. military officials as they prepare to support increases in space travel and exploration.
PRAY FOR AN END TO THE WAR IN UKRAINE
Russia sent a barrage of drones to attack Ukraine, of which Ukraine said its forces downed 65 of the unmanned aircraft. Ukrainian commanders have reported that North Koreans fighting for Russia generally commit suicide rather than being captured alive and they kill Ukrainian soldiers rather than take them prisoner.
Pray for President Trump and allied nations as they seek an end to the Ukraine war.
Pray for AMERICA’S RELATIONSHIP WITH ISRAEL
Seven women have been freed so far in the first phase of the ceasefire between Hamas and Israel. Hamas announced that eight of the 33 set to be released in the initial phase are dead. More than 1,900 Palestinian prisoners are being released in phase one of the exchange for the Israeli hostages.
Pray for U.S. and Israeli officials as they continue to monitor Hamas’ compliance with the agreement.
Pray for AMERICA’S HEALTH AND WELL-BEING
A preliminary study of children continuously enrolled in the Florida Medicaid program from birth to 9 years old revealed that “the current vaccination schedule may be contributing to multiple forms of NDDs [neurodevelopmental disorders].” The study also showed that vaccinated children are more likely to experience autism, learning disorders, seizures, and encephalopathy.
Pray for the Senate as they examine the nomination of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. for Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services.
Pray for Needs Across the States
The secretary of state of California has approved the gathering of signatures on a petition that would place the state’s secession on the 2028 ballot. A legal expert noted that, after the Civil War, the Supreme Court ruled that admission to the union as a state is final and that the Constitution provides ‘no place for reconsideration, or revocation except through revolution, or through consent of the states.‘
The South Carolina Department of Education has restricted the teaching of ideology in K-12 schools that includes unconscious racism and sexism or that anyone should “feel discomfort, guilt, anguish or any other form of psychological distress on account of his race or sex.“ The department is now facing a lawsuit over the limits it has placed on race, gender, and sexual discussion in class.
Pray for state officials to be discerning as they seek to resolve issues that concern their residents.
Pray for America’s Faith Community
“The Bible says we don’t look at troubles that we can see right now. Instead, we look forward to what we have not yet seen. For troubles we see will soon be over, but the unseen joys to come will last forever. Faith is believing what you cannot see. And it says here, we look forward to what we have not yet seen. See, the things you see right now are temporary, everything you can see is not going to last. It’s what you don’t see that will last forever. So he says, “What are you going to focus on? The temporary or the eternal?“ – Rick Warren, Pastor Rick’s Daily Hope, The Life God Blesses
