ICE has arrested 969 in its first week of immigration enforcement under President Trump’s administration.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) had arrested 969 violent illegal aliens as of Tuesday. President Donald Trump pledged to increase immigration enforcement, and “border czar” Tom Homan, the acting head of ICE, has followed up on that promise.
Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, who was sworn into office on Sunday, joined the operation of ICE agents in New York City on Tuesday. The raids are targeting criminal illegal immigrants, including a ringleader of Tren De Aragua.
“We are picking up the worst of the worst in this country that are making our streets so dangerous,” said Secretary Noem. “The community is safer now. That’s the reality of it.”
“We need mayors and governors partnering with us, but we will do our job regardless of that,” she added. “We will continue to go forward and identify those folks and get them out.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For wisdom for Secretary Noem as she oversees the Department of Homeland Security.
- For Acting Director Homan as he heads the operations to deport violent criminal illegal immigrants.
