Pray for America’s Military
President Trump announced during his inauguration that he would reinstate members of the military who were released for refusing the COVID-19 vaccine. The president said they would receive full back pay and that he would “sign an order to stop our warriors from being subjected to radical political theories and social experiments while on duty.” President Trump added, “Our armed forces will be freed to focus on their sole mission: defeating America’s enemies.”
Pray for the president and his defense advisors to be led by the Lord as they seek to strengthen the nation’s military.
PRAY FOR AN END TO THE WAR IN UKRAINE
President Trump proposed tariffs on Russian imports if an agreement to end the war in Ukraine is not reached soon. He said he cares about that country and “I’m going to do Russia, whose Economy is failing, and President Putin, a very big FAVOR. Settle now, and STOP this ridiculous War! IT’S ONLY GOING TO GET WORSE. If we don’t make a ‘deal,’ and soon, I have no other choice but to put high levels of Taxes, Tariffs, and Sanctions on anything being sold by Russia to the United States, and various other participating countries.”
Pray for President Trump as he seeks an end to the Ukraine war and proposes tariffs to accomplish foreign policy.
Pray for AMERICA’S RELATIONSHIP WITH ISRAEL
The Israel-Hamas ceasefire began on Sunday with the release of three hostages by Hamas and 90 Palestinian prisoners by Israel on Monday. Israeli Defense Forces and Israel Security Authority accompanied the Israeli hostages with assistance from the Red Cross. The ceasefire was delayed by Hamas’ failure to provide, according to the agreement, the names of the first hostages who would be released.
Pray for U.S. and Israeli officials as they seek to ensure the provisions of the ceasefire are met.
Pray for AMERICA’S HEALTH AND WELL-BEING
President Trump signed an executive order withdrawing the United States from the World Health Organization. This is a follow-up on an announcement he made during his first term in 2020, when he said American funding would go to global health needs outside of the international health organization’s control due to its lack of accountability.
Pray for the president and U.S. health officials as they assess the policies for domestic and international health funding.
Pray for Needs Across the States
Governor Phil Murphy sent President Trump a letter asking that his administration reexamine the congestion pricing that New York City has implemented and the impact it will have on New Jersey.
New Hampshire Governor Kelly Ayotte announced her state will not comply with regulations that increase the minimum size of harvestable lobsters in the Gulf of Maine. She said the change “will have a negative impact on an industry already strained by existing regulations.”
Pray for state governors as they seek to care for their residents and commerce.
