He issues executive orders to expedite U.S. oil and gas drilling.
President Donald Trump enacted dozens of executive orders on the first day of his second administration, one of which declared a national emergency for energy. The president stated America’s inflation is based on rising energy prices and intends to address this issue by expediting permits for gas and oil drilling.
“America will be a manufacturing nation once again, and we have something that no other manufacturing nation will ever have, the largest amount of oil and gas of any country on Earth, and we are going to use it,” President Trump said during his inauguration speech.
“The inflation crisis was caused by massive overspending and escalating energy prices, and that is why today I will also declare a national energy emergency. We will drill, baby, drill,” the president declared.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For President Trump to be discerning as he addresses inflation through energy production.
- For U.S. energy officials as they begin to implement the president’s agenda.
- For U.S. judges who will hear the challenges being filed against the president’s energy policies.
