Senate Committees Hold Hearing on Cabinet Nominees

Today, the U.S. Senate Committee On The Budget is holding hearings to evaluating Russell Vought, of Virginia, to be the Director of the Office of Management and Budget. He previously served President Trump as the director of that office in the president’s first administration.

Later in the afternoon, U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, & Transportation is holding preliminary meetings to consider the nomination of Sean Duffy for the role of United States Secretary of Transportation. Sean Duffy was previously a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Wisconsin.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For members of the Senate committees to be discerning as they hold confirmation hearings for the president’s nominees.
  • For God to direct the speech and testimony of Russell Vought and Sean Duffy as they speak to the committee members in the Senate.
  • For God’s will to be accomplished in and through this transition and change for our country.
  • For God to shed His perfect light on things that are hidden and for our leaders to act transparently and in truth.
