President Biden is giving his farewell address to the nation this evening from the Oval Office.

Today, several committees in the House of Representatives are holding organizational business meetings.
Committees in the Senate are beginning hearings to examine the expected nominations of the incoming administration: the Judiciary Committee looking at Pam Bondi for Attorney General; the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee at Kristi Noem as DHS Secretary, and at Russel Vought for OMB Director; the Energy Committee at Chris Wright for Energy Secretary; the Foreign Relations Committee at Marco Rubio for Secretary of State; the Intelligence Committee at John Ratcliffe as CIA Director; and the Transportation Committee at Sean Duffy for Transportation Secretary.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For President Biden and members of his administration as they prepare to leave office.
- For members of Congress as they organize committees and begin holding confirmation hearings for the incoming administration’s appointees.
- For discernment for the president-elect as he prepares for his second administration.
