President Joe Biden is hosting an online meeting with Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba.

National Security Spokesman John Kirby said the meeting is intended to strengthen “our trilateral partnership and our efforts toward a secure Indo-Pacific region.”

The meeting serves as a follow-up to President Biden’s trilateral summit last year with the two leaders, which discussed cooperative efforts from “energy security to infrastructure to critical and emerging technologies to maritime security.“

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For prudence for the president and his advisors as they prepare to leave office.
  • For U.S. national security officials as they assess threats and seek to strengthen alliances.
  • For the president-elect and his appointees as they prepare for the transition into office.
