The biopharmaceutical company will research treatments for obesity and linked health conditions.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) recently finalized an agreement with biopharmaceutical company Hoth Therapeutics, which received federal approval for a patent license on its new technology to address obesity and its related health conditions.
The technology has not yet been developed, but the patent agreement approves Hoth’s research and commercialization plan to co-develop a treatment for obesity with the VA department and Emory University.
The company will have exclusive development, marketing, and commercial rights for the products and processes created under the patent. A comprehensive development plan is part of the agreement to support the technology from the research through the commercialization phases.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For VA Secretary McDonough as he finalizes projects and agreements between his department and industry.
- For VA personnel to be compassionate and competent as they seek to provide care for the nation’s veterans.
