Strong and Courageous
Dear Prayer Warrior,
Just as Joshua was chosen by God to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land, we too are called to guide our nation through prayer and faith. Joshua faced many challenges, but his unwavering trust in God’s promises serves as a powerful example for us.
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
We have hope for revival in our country. Yet, like Joshua, we must remain steadfast in prayer, asking God to open hearts and minds. We will encounter opposition, but we are already seeing answers to prayer in our nation. Let us draw inspiration from Joshua’s courage and faithfulness. God has called each of us here today, so that we might be valiant prayer warriors, standing firm in our faith.
For over 23 years, The Presidential Prayer Team has been dedicated to equipping believers to pray for our nation and its leaders. You are, right now, a part of the largest daily spiritual prayer community of the 21st Century. And you are steering our nation back to the Lord through prayer. Our commitment to you is to provide ongoing prayer points, information, and resources to support your prayer journey.

The 2024 Year-End Matching Challenge has concluded.
Thank you to everyone who contributed and helped us reach 98.7% of our goal! Any remaining phone, mail, and web donations will be counted toward the final match as we process them this coming week. “What have you heard or experienced recently that gives you hope for the new year?”
We are encouraged and blessed by the many responses that came in from members of the prayer team. Thank you!
- God’s supreme sovereignty, the never-ending Love of Jesus and the Peace and Presence of the Holy Spirit in our daily lives gives me the hope that I will need throughout 2025.
- What I have observed over the radio programs and messages heard is that many of them are more evangelistic. The work for America’s heart has just begun.
- God is answering my prayer for unity and awaken His church, the Body of Christ, in the United States.
- Whatever happens, God is in control. So many instances I’ve worried about something then seen God come along and answer in ways I would never even have thought of. PRAISE HIM!
- I am filled with hope because I know God is in control. He has given the country new hope in spite of everything that has happened in the world. May The Presidental Prayer Team be abundantly blessed not only in 2025 but in future years.
- I have a new hope and peace that this country will be back on track serving the Lord and turning around with every change that needs to be done.
- I have been reading the Bible and God apparently delights in letting His people know what is to come as brings Him glory. There will be some bad times still to come, but the end is wonderful to those who put their faith and hope in Him.
- I see people sharing their faith openly again and it gives me hope that God is awakening many among us to get in the game, not just watch from the bleachers anymore.
- I’m thankful for 2025 with new leaders who are pro-life and pro-family values, and who call upon the name of Jesus for America. We continue to pray and obey!
- Psalm 27:13 gives me hope for today and the new year! God’s goodness is achievable in the land of the living!
- The renewal of hope and faith across America. Most of us were concerned that The Lord had more tribulation for us…so we are Praising Him and giving Him ultimate Glory!! Amen
- I was on a cruise this year that had a passenger led Bible study every morning we were not in port. The cruise spanned the US election season, and passengers from other countries were extremely interested. One person stated that they had been praying for America and the election results, especially as they affected the faith community. That really touched my heart.
- God led us to a new church after moving states, and it already feels like a family, with a focus on Jesus Christ and His salvation. I know God is still in control of everything and the Holy Spirit will guide me to do what He wants me to do.

Key Questions and Answers
Q: Who can join?
A. You and everyone who prays! We encourage you to invite family, friends, and church members to join. They can text INFO to 772911 for full information. (U.S. and Canadian cell phone numbers only at this time.)
Q: Does this work on any smart device or phone?
A: Pray First will work with any registered phone device that has a 10-digit number (U.S. and Canada with active SIM/eSIM). It is not compatible with third-party messaging systems that do not require a phone number. This allows us to use the largest text messaging providers for near-instant sending, to reach millions of cell phone across the country.
Q: When can I expect my first text message?
A: You will receive an immediate response confirming that you are now a Prayer First Responder. Regular text notifications will begin early October when the system goes live.
Q: What should I do when I receive a message?
A: When a prayer text message arrives on your phone, take the matter before the Lord. You will be joining a vast community of prayer warriors who received the same message and praying with you at the same time.
Q: What if I prefer to receive email?
A: If you are signed up to receive daily and/or weekly emails from the prayer team, those will continue with no interruption. This is simply a new service aimed at providing timely prayer needs to your fingertips as quickly and effectively as possible. Email can sometimes be slowed by service providers, or even blocked, and this service will ensure unfiltered delivery.
Q: How often will I get a text message?
A: You may receive 1 or 2 per week, with up to 8 messages per month. Messages will be limited to local daytime hours.
Q: Are there any fees?
A: This is a free service for all who participate, and most cell phone providers offer free texting. We trust God’s people will see the impact value this service and support our costs – as they have over the past 22 years.
Q: What if I need to stop for any reason?
A: You can opt-out at any time by simply replying STOP to 772911. And you can rejoin again later at your convenience.
