Grant funding distributed to manufacturing electrolyzer stacks, bipolar plates
The Department of Energy (DOE) announced its winners for the MAKE IT Phase 2 competitive grant, awarding $9 million each to two domestic manufacturing projects. Anderson Clean Energy will be producing electrolyzer stacks for clean energy technologies in South Carolina. Million-Mile Fuel Cell Trucks will expand its operations to produce bipolar plates in Massachusetts.
“The MAKE IT Prize is strengthening our country through expanded clean energy manufacturing,” said DOE Chief Commercialization Officer and Director of the Office of Technology Transitions Vanessa Chan. “Expanding our capacity to manufacture critical components domestically will benefit energy companies, regional economies, and communities across the nation.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Director Chan to seek God’s guidance as she heads the DOE’s Office of Technology Transitions.
- For Secretary Granholm and other Energy Department officials as they pursue administration goals.
