Secretary of State Antony Blinken is chairing a meeting of the UN Security Council in New York today.
The United States holds the rotating presidency of the council for the month of December.
Today’s session will focus on Sudan and the current humanitarian crisis there. Secretary Blinken also chaired a council meeting yesterday that focused on the implications of artificial intelligence for the maintenance of international peace and security
