President Joe Biden proclaimed November National Native American Heritage Month.

The president stated, “During National Native American Heritage Month, we honor the history, rich cultures, and vast contributions of Native peoples. We celebrate the hundreds of Tribal Nations that are ushering in a new era in our Nation-to-Nation relationships.“

He added, “We honor the heritage and contributions of Native peoples, and we work tirelessly to build a future grounded in dignity, respect, and partnership.  We remain committed to working with Native communities to write a new and better chapter in American history for Tribal Nations.“

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the president and his administration as they seek to improve the federal government’s relationship with Native Nations.
  • For Assistant Secretary Bryan Newland as he heads the Interior’s Bureau of Indian Affairs.
  • For the leaders of Tribal Nations to be discerning in their oversight of Native Americans and their lands.
