President Joseph Biden is traveling to Peru today.
White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stated that the president will “meet with President Dina Boluarte to reinforce the strong U.S.-Peru bilateral relationship and participate in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, where he will highlight U.S. economic leadership and engagement in the Indo-Pacific region.“
Special Envoy for Global Youth Issues Abby Finkenauer is in Sri Lanka and Nepal this week to highlight “the United States’ commitment to empowering young leaders in South Asia, fostering collaboration on civic engagement, and addressing key issues such as youth leadership, cultural preservation, and community resilience.“
