Air Raid Sirens in Tel Aviv As Secretary Blinken Departs

The U.S. secretary of state has been promoting an end to Israel’s war against Hamas.

On Wednesday, as U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken prepared to conclude his visit to Israel, air raid sirens went off as an incoming missile was intercepted in the sky above his hotel in Tel Aviv.

Secretary Blinken has been meeting with Middle Eastern officials seeking an end to the war between Israel and Hamas, the release of the remaining hostages Hamas holds in Gaza, the release of Palestinian prisoners, and the withdrawal of Israel from Gaza.

One year after Hamas’ invasion of Israel, in which 1,200 people were slaughtered and around 250 taken hostage, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has continued to hold a strong stance regarding the elimination of the terrorist group that has governed Gaza.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For the peace of Jerusalem and the safety of the Israeli and Palestinian people.
  • For wisdom for U.S. and Israeli officials as they discuss the potential cease-fire.
