Resources and materials are being made available for partner organizations.
The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) launched its 25th National Lead Poisoning Prevention Week from October 20-26. Conducted in partnership with the Environmental Protection Agency and the Centers for Disease Control, the housing department intends to highlight community coordination as a prime solution to address lead poisoning. Over the next week, the HUD will distribute resources and outreach materials for partner organizations to use.
“Preventing lead poisoning is a top priority for HUD, and we are committed to eliminating childhood lead exposure,” said Acting HUD Secretary Adrianne Todman. “We believe in a future where families across America are thriving in safe and healthy homes, free from the dangerous effects of lead.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For wisdom for Acting Secretary Todman as she heads the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
- For HUD officials as they seek to eradicate lead pipes from American homes.
