President Biden Reschedules Visit to Germany

He postponed his travel last week due to Hurricane Milton.

President Joe Biden will visit Germany this Friday after he postponed the trip last week to remain in the United States. The president oversaw federal recovery efforts in the wake of Hurricane Milton, a Category 5 storm that struck the west coast of Florida only two weeks after Category 4 Hurricane Helene.

The German government supported President Biden’s decision, though it meant that he was unable to attend a meeting with the Ramstein group, international weapons donors that discussed additional Ukraine support at their latest gathering. The duration of President Biden’s rescheduled visit will be shorter, long enough to meet with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, French President Emmanuel Macron, and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer about support for Ukraine.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For safe travels for the president and his staff as they head to Germany.
  • For wisdom for the president, his advisors, and European leaders as they continue to support Ukraine in the war with Russia.
