Secretary of State Antony Blinken is in Laos today. He is representing the United States at East Asia Summit, the U.S.-ASEAN Summit, and related leaders’ meetings.

State Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller said, “The Secretary will reiterate the United States’ commitment to ASEAN centrality and support for the ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific, which shares fundamental principles with the U.S. Indo-Pacific Strategy.“

He continued, “Secretary Blinken will reaffirm U.S. support for the Lao PDR ASEAN Chair Year and commitment to further strengthening the U.S.-Lao PDR Comprehensive Partnership.“

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Secretary Blinken to receive direction from the Lord as he meets with ASEAN leaders.
  • For the president, vice president, and their advisors as they pursue agreements and make commitments in Asia and the Indo-Pacific.
  • For FEMA Administrator Criswell, state governors, and all who are participating in recovery efforts from Hurricanes Helene and Milton.
