This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. – Psalm 118:24
Rejoice in the Lord Always
Do you feel overwhelmed by the problems and challenges of life? Is the uncertainty of shifting values in society or the divisiveness of politics tempting you to be anxious? This week’s verse offers an antidote to the worries and fears that the enemy throws at us: REJOICE in this day that God has made. Regardless of the adversity or trials we may face, there is always something the Lord has done in which to rejoice! His great goodness and mercy in sending His Son Jesus to die for sin and rise again to conquer death is enough to lift the heart and countenance. But God also made TODAY. He has given you life TODAY. He is with you TODAY. Paul writes, “Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice“ (Philippians 4:4). Be the light of Jesus to those around you by rejoicing in the Lord TODAY!
