Energy Department Launches Home Energy Rebates in Arizona

The grants offer funding for home energy efficiency.

The U.S. Department of Energy recently announced the launch of Arizona’s first federal Home Energy Rebates program, becoming the second state to offer federal resources for energy-efficient home solutions. This program supports the purchase of energy-efficient appliances by low-income households, including dishwashers, laundry and air conditioning units, partially covered by funding authorized through the Inflation Reduction Act.

“Arizonans know more than most the urgency of deploying energy efficient measures, like insulation and upgraded HVAC systems, so households across the state can slash their utility bills without putting people in danger of heat-related health impacts,” said Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm. “Arizona is one of the states leading the nation in building up their local workforce and keeping money in the pockets of their residents, all thanks to the Investing in America agenda.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Secretary Granholm to seek God’s direction as she heads the Energy Department.
  • For U.S. energy officials as they determine the efficiency programs to invest in.
