Today, Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources Richard Verma is concluding his travel to San Diego, California, and Tijuana, Mexico.

The deputy secretary will tour the San Diego Passport Agency and meet with officials at the San Ysidro Port of Entry to see how U.S. Customs and Border Protection is working with Mexican partners along the border. State Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller said, “In Tijuana, he will tour the United States Consulate and meet with consulate staff to discuss cross-border issues.“

Deputy Secretary of State Kurt Campbell is in Aukland, New Zealand today. Spokesperson Miller said, “The Deputy Secretary will co-chair the U.S.-New Zealand Strategic Dialogue, meet with senior government officials, and launch the inaugural High-Level Technology Dialogue.“
