Acting Assistant Secretary of State for Oceans and International Environmental and Scientific Affairs Jennifer Littlejohn is in Malé, Maldives.

State Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller said, “During her visit, she will discuss nature and marine conservation, plastic and air pollution, the climate crisis, deforestation, nature crimes, civil and commercial space activities, promoting women and girls in STEM, and the sustainable blue economy.“

Today through Friday, the acting assistant secretary will engage with government and civil society partners in Maldives to discuss joint efforts on climate resilience, environmental protection, and marine and wildlife conservation.

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Acting Assistant Secretary Littlejohn to be led by the Lord as she addresses climate, environmental, and conservation efforts.
  • For prudence for the president, vice president, and U.S. officials as they pursue their climate goals.
  • That God’s purposes will be accomplished in the United States and in the care of the world’s environment.
