Crowned
Several television series have been produced about the British royal families. “Victoria” appeared in a PBS series and “The Crown,” dramatizing the reign of Queen Elizabeth II, has been featured on Netflix. In both series, the ups and downs of leading so public a life have been put on display with varying attempts at accuracy. However, they have nothing on you! “You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession” (1 Peter 2:9). This sets you apart as a beloved family member of God’s kingdom. What a Monarch you serve… and you are privileged to call Him Father! So today, in gratitude for His adoption of you through Christ (Ephesians 1:5-6), walk with all the dignity of one who wears a crown placed upon your head by the Lord Himself!
