Former U.S. Government Official Arrested as South Korean Foreign Agent

Former CIA analyst and NSC director is charged with violating the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA).

Su Mi Terry, a South Korean native, has been arrested for functioning as an unregistered foreign agent of the South Korean government. The Manhattan resident previously served in the U.S. government, including positions such as analyst in the Central Intelligence Agency and a director in the White House National Security Council.

The Justice Department alleges that, after leaving government service, Ms. Terry provided South Korean officials with access to sensitive U.S. information and governing officials. In return, she was compensated with luxury goods, meals, and tens of thousands in funding for her public policy program.

In 2023, Ms. Terry acknowledged to the Federal Bureau of Investigation that she had provided information to the Republic of Korea’s National Intelligence Service

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
