He says his nation will do “whatever it must” to defeat Hamas.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke before a joint session of Congress on Wednesday. He urged Congress to continue financially supporting Israeli military operations against Hamas, the terrorist government ruling the Palestinian Gaza Strip. The prime minister promised to defeat them and return the remaining hostages still being held in the region.
“When we stand together, something very simple happens: We win, they lose,” Prime Minister Netanyahu said. “And my friends, I came to assure you today of one thing: We will win.”
Antisemitic protests took place around Washington, D.C., due to the prime minister’s appearance before Congress. Dozens of legislators from President Biden’s party did not attend Prime Minister Netanyahu’s visit, including Vice President Kamala Harris, who was campaigning in Indiana.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

- For the president, vice president, and administration officials as they advocate for a ceasefire and the release of the hostages still being held by Hamas.
