The U.S. Central Command of the Defense Department announced the conclusion of the Joint Logistics Over-the-Shore system mission to deliver aid to Gaza.

The temporary pier was hampered by rough seas throughout its deployment, which began in May. However, the Defense Department stated, “The temporary pier successfully delivered nearly 20 million pounds of aid.”

Regarding the remaining humanitarian aid to Gaza, Pentagon Spokesperson Sabrina Singh said, “Centcom will work with USAID to deliver the remaining aid commodities, currently afloat, to the port of Ashdod, in Israel, for onward distribution to Gaza, and will provide coordination and liaison support for humanitarian aid delivery as a request of USAID when appropriate.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For discernment for Pentagon officials as they coordinate the remaining humanitarian aid to Gaza.
  • For Defense Secretary Austin and CENTCOM Commander General Kurilla to seek God’s direction regarding Middle Eastern operations.
  • For the president and his military advisors as they pursue resolutions to the conflict in Gaza.
