Attendees from over 40 states explore solutions through panels and exhibitions.
The Department of Commerce hosted the first-ever National Childcare Innovation Summit last week, bringing together hundreds of officials and businesses from 40 states to improve vital childcare services. Attendees participated in dozens of panels and presentations, showcasing ongoing efforts to improve affordability, accessibility, and quality of care for the children of working parents.
“We’re taking action under the Biden-Harris Administration to bring relief to families, but government can’t – and shouldn’t – go it alone,” Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo said at the summit. “We need private sector leaders at the table to work with us, and other stakeholders across the care economy, to identify and target solutions that will support workers, families, and businesses. That’s what today was all about.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Secretary Raimondo to seek the Lord as she oversees the Commerce Department.
- For federal officials to be discerning as they collaborate on improvements in childcare.
