Today, Vice President Kamala Harris is attending the Ukraine peace conference being held in Bern, Switzerland.
The Swiss government reported that 90 countries and organizations, half of which are from Europe, would attend the two-day conference. Switzerland is hosting the conference at Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s request.
Russia is not participating in the discussions that seek to find a “comprehensive, just and lasting peace for Ukraine based on international law and the U.N. charter.”
