This week, Secretary of State Antony Blinken is on travel to Egypt Israel, Jordan, and Qatar.
State Department Spokesperson Matthew Miller said, “ The Secretary will discuss with partners the need to reach a ceasefire agreement that secures the release of all hostages. He will emphasize the importance of Hamas accepting the proposal on the table, which is nearly identical to one Hamas endorsed last month. “
He continued, “The Secretary will discuss how the ceasefire proposal would benefit both Israelis and Palestinians. He will underscore that it would alleviate suffering in Gaza, enable a massive surge in humanitarian assistance, and allow Palestinians to return to their neighborhoods.“
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- That Secretary Blinken would receive God’s direction as he with foreign ministers to discuss a ceasefire in Gaza.
- For the president and members of the administration to be discerning as they implement foreign policies.
- For the peace of Jerusalem and for the leaders of the Israeli, Palestinian, and Lebanese people as they are engaged in the conflicts.
