Today, Secretary of State Antony Blinken will testify before Congress regarding Israel’s military conduct and compliance with international humanitarian law.
Assistant Secretary of the State Department Bureau of Conflict and Stabilization Operations Anne A. Witkowsky and U.S. Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women’s Issues Dr. Geeta Rao Gupta are in Australia.
State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said, “Assistant Secretary Witkowsky will lead a delegation composed of Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women’s Issues Dr. Rao Gupta and Deputy Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism Aaron Keyak to attend sessions at the International Atrocity Prevention Working Group Spring Meeting.“
He continued, “Ambassador Rao Gupta, joined by Assistant Secretary Witkowsky, will also lead U.S. participation in the second U.S.-Australia Bilateral Strategic Dialogue on Gender Equality.“
