The third Ministerial meeting of the Los Angeles Declaration on Migration and Protection is being held there.
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken is leading a U.S. delegation to Guatemala on Tuesday for the third Ministerial meeting of the Los Angeles Declaration on Migration and Protection.
State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said, “Secretary Blinken will underscore our advances over the past two years and look ahead to next joint steps to bolster humane migration management and robust enforcement, lawful pathways and access to protection, and increasing refugee and migrant integration in the Americas.“
He continued, “The Secretary will meet with President Bernardo Arévalo and other leaders from the Western Hemisphere to discuss building a more secure and prosperous hemisphere.“
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For the secretary of state and U.S. delegates to be led by the Lord in their meetings and discussions on immigration.
- For Secretary Blinken to seek God’s wisdom as he heads the State Department.
